Types

There are four types of galvanized stair treads, T1 stair treads, T2 stair treads, T3 stair treads, and T4 stair treads. They are mainly divided according to whether there are front guard plates and perforated side plates, or according to customers requirements to decide.

1. If there is a lot of people going up and down the stairs, the front guard should be used, otherwise, the front guard can be omitted to reduce your cost.

2. Whether it is fixed with screws or welding during installation, the rear side plate with holes should be added for bolt fixing, and the side plate with direct welding is not used to thicken the side plate.

Installation Method

Galvanized stair treads is a kind of steel grating used for the stairs of the platform. According to the installation method, there are generally two types of welding and bolting, which are directly welded to the keel, without the need to add the side plate of the step. It is more economical and durable, but not easy to disassemble. The bolted treads need thicker side plates on both sides, drill holes on the side plates, and the installation is directly fixed by bolts, which can be recycled and reused. Customers can customize according to their actual needs, and can use any type of steel grating to create various sizes to match the corresponding stairs. But from an economic point of view, we recommend using the recommended size as much as possible.

Specification Selection

We can provide stair treads with different anti-skid front guards, the size of which can be arbitrarily specified as required.

1. The width is 700mm, 800mm, 900mm, and the minimum width is 600mm. The maximum width should not be greater than 1200mm. For stairs that are passed by a single person, the width between the two inclined beams or guardrails should not be less than 600mm.

2. When the stairs are frequently subjected to several people crossing at the same time or used as an evacuation route for people, the width of the ladder should be increased to 1200mm.

3. The protruding edge of the stair treads should be able to withstand a load of 1.5KN. When the width is not more than 1200mm, the load is applied to an area of 100mm×100mm; when the width is greater than 1200mm, a load of 1.5KN is added to the line at 600mm of each team. The deflection of the stair treads should not exceed 1/500 of the span.

4. Stair treads and platform platforms should have good anti-skid performance.

5. The overlapping part of the vertical projection of the two adjacent upper and lower stair treads should not be less than 10mm.
