Metal Stair Treads Types

Regular Size of Metal Stair Treads

1. The commonly used stair width is 700mm, 800mm, 900mm; when the width is 600mm, and the width should not be greater than 1200mm.

2. For stairs that are passed by a single person, the width between the two inclined beams or guardrails should not be less than 600mm.

3. When the stairs are frequently subjected to several people crossing at the same time or used as an evacuation route for people, the width of the ladder should be increased to 1200mm.

4. The stair treads is made of steel grating. The model of steel grating can be selected according to customer requirements.

5. The protruding edge of the stair step should be able to bear a load of 1.5KN. When the width is not greater than 1200mm, the load acts on an area of 100mm×100mm; when the width is greater than 1200mm, a load of 1.5KN is added to each symmetrical 600mm, and the stair treads the deflection of the board should not exceed 1/500 of the span.

6. Stair treads and stairs platform should have good anti-skid performance.

7. The vertical projection of the adjacent upper and lower stair treads should not be less than 10mm.

8. The connection between the stair treads and the stairs is fixed by welding or bolts. When bolts are used for fixing, the bolt size shall not be less than M10.
